Hi, my name is Holly Vera Gay and I am the new Youth Minister here at Church of the Good Shepherd. I arrived here about a month ago from the Houston, TX area and I am excited to be here!

In the past month, I have been settling in and just getting to know people. I have been learning a lot about Good Shepherd and listening and discerning God’s vision for the youth ministry.

It’s hard to believe that fall is almost here and soon it will almost be time to head back to school! This August we will also be kicking off our Wednesday night programs for the youth at Good Shepherd. Our first Wednesday night together will be on August 22nd and will run from 5:30 - 7 pm. We will start by having dinner together, playing a few games, and mainly just spend some time getting to know each other and dream together God’s dreams for the youth of Good Shepherd. All students in grades 7-12 are invited; you do not have to be a member of Good Shepherd to join us.

Fr. Randy and I are both very excited about this new season at Good Shepherd and we are looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday, August 22nd!
