Nursery Care
For little ones 0-2 years old.
Available from 10 AM - 11:30 AM.
Our nursery is newly refurbished and stocked with all sorts of fun toys and books for your little one! All of our nursery volunteers go through Safe Church training, so you can rest assured your kids are safe while you join us for the service.
Preschool
For toddlers ages 3 & 4 years old.
Available from 10-11:30 AM.
The preschool class is for children getting a first taste of Sunday School through storytelling and guided play-based learning. We are using a preschool curriculum called Frolic Storytelling. Each month we focus on a book that the children also receive a copy of to share at home!
The stories are about a little group of animal friends who are mastering concepts like sharing, managing worry, following rules…just like us! We pray during our story time to teach children that God is our everyday help. There is plenty of play time to make our time together memorable and fun!
Godly Play
Kindergarten & 1st Grade

On Sunday mornings during the 10:15 AM service, all children ages 5 and older are led by a special children’s procession to an age-appropriate class in our Education Wing.
For Kindergarten and 1st graders, this is Godly Play. In Godly Play, children are led through a Bible story using wooden story-telling figures.
Whirl is an action acronym for our class format: Welcome, Hear, Respond, Launch. We watch a short animated video featuring kids who go to Sunday school together and we learn from the lectionary reading of the day. We discover what is happening in the Bible story, what it means for kids today, and we teach the lectionary connection too. We learn about the Eucharist as well, as we devote time to Intentional Communion each year.

The Connect curriculum was designed with your kids in mind, and it has just enough quirky tween humor to keep them interested, with all the solid theology we want kids to learn. I strongly encourage you to nudge them into the classroom at least a few times and let them see what it's about and how the Bible stories all fit together in a way they probably never realized.
Each child will have their own Connect Bible that only they use—theirs to keep. In class, they will quickly get a big picture of multiple places where the Bible reveals the lesson theme. Kids highlight, underline, sketch on, search through, and draw in the pages as part of the learning time. We bring it all together to help them process the biblical theme and relate it to their own lives.
